We had All Canadian Home Services come out for a roof inspection today as we recently moved into our 1977 home and were unsure about the state of our roof. We were drawn to their philosophy of repairing minor issues before they became major - mostly because we're not in a financial possession to redo our roof so we were hoping to have any small issues addressed sooner than later. Yance and his team came out and checked everything out and reported back to us. We were glad to hear that our roof was in great shape and didn't need anything at all! No updates etc, they literally told us we're rock solid for another 5+ years. They even sent us a video detailing and explaining their inspection and pointed out all of the positive things about our roof and some areas which are potentially vulnerable to failing in the future. We will definitely have them back in a few years to see where we're at but the peace of mind is certainly worth the cost of a simple inspection.
