Gutters cleared out, every downspout checked, and the ground tidied before we leave. Blocked gutters push water into your fascia, walls and foundation — we clear them properly, not just the visible bits.

Pricing
Four questions, no email needed. Most Vancouver and North Shore homes land between $200 and $400 — three storeys and steep ground push it up.

Why it matters
Vancouver averages 1,457 mm of rain a year and Capilano in North Vancouver averages 2,522 mm. Big-leaf maples in the city, cedar and fir needles on the North Shore — gutters here fill faster than almost anywhere in Canada.
Water sitting in a blocked gutter soaks the fascia board behind it. Replacing fascia costs many times more than cleaning.
Overflow lands at the foundation instead of the downspout, and ends up finding its way inside.
Standing debris holds water that freezes, expands and pulls gutters away from the roofline.
Wet debris is a nesting site, and moss spreading from the gutter line creeps up onto the roof itself.
Is it due yet?
You can't see into a gutter from the ground, so most people wait until something goes wrong. These are the signs to look for before it does.
Not sure? Send us your address and we'll look at your roofline on satellite imagery and tell you honestly whether it can wait.

Book them together
Cleaning a roof washes moss and grit straight down into the gutters, so doing the roof first and the gutters after is the sensible order. Booked together it's one visit instead of two.
See roof cleaning in Surrey →If you're booking a clean two or three times a year, guards usually pay for themselves inside two seasons. We fit guards matched to whether you're dealing with needles, leaves or roof grit.

Vancouver and the North Shore throw different problems at a gutter than the suburbs do, and most of them come down to the size of the trees and the shape of the houses.
Douglas fir and western red cedar that were tall before the house was built, hanging directly over the roof. Fir needle is small enough to pass any coarse screen and fine enough to pack into a mat that water sits on top of rather than draining through.
Denser conifer again, on steeper ground, and noticeably more rain than the south side of the river. Gutters here fill faster and overflow sooner, and a blocked downspout on a slope sends water somewhere you would rather it did not go.
Three storeys on a thirty-three foot lot means there is often no side yard wide enough to foot a ladder properly. That is a setup question more than a debris question, and it is the main reason some of these homes get skipped year after year.
Where we work
Eavestrough cleaning and gutter cleaning are the same job under two names — we answer to both. Based in Surrey and across the bridge most weeks. If your neighbourhood isn't listed, call and ask.
Common questions
On the Vancouver west side and anywhere on the North Shore, twice a year is normal rather than cautious — mature Douglas fir and cedar drop needle steadily all year, and fir needle packs into a mat that water sits on top of. Homes without conifer directly over the roof can usually hold to once a year, in late autumn.
Most single-family homes fall between $200 and $400. The price depends on the length of the gutter run, how many storeys, the roof pitch and how much debris has built up. We quote over the phone using satellite imagery, so you get a firm number without booking a site visit.
Yes, and it's included. We test each downspout for flow and clear it if blocked. A clean gutter feeding into a plugged downspout still overflows, so checking them is part of the job rather than an extra.
No. We only need exterior access. We confirm the arrival window in advance and message you when the job is finished.
If you're paying for two or three cleans a year, guards usually pay for themselves within a couple of seasons. If you're on one clean a year, they often don't. We'll tell you honestly which camp your roofline falls into rather than selling you something you don't need.
Yes, and it's the sensible order. Cleaning a roof washes moss and grit down into the gutters, so we do the roof first and the gutters after. Booked together it's one visit and usually cheaper than two separate jobs.
We're WorkSafe BC registered and carry $2M liability insurance. We work with townhouse complexes, strata councils and property managers across Greater Vancouver and can supply certificates and documentation for council before work starts.
Getting them clear before the November to January rain is the priority here. Conifer drops year-round, so unlike a deciduous street there is no single week where the trees are finished — waiting for that just means waiting through the rain. On the North Shore, where it comes down harder and longer, we would rather do it early than late.
